Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver parcels to multiple locations daily.
- Follow a pre-planned route using GPS or app-based navigation systems.
- Complete deliveries and collections efficiently, meeting time-sensitive targets.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professional and courteous interactions.
- Accurately record delivery information and obtain proof of delivery using mobile devices.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and report any issues promptly.
- Handle parcels with care, ensuring no damage during transport or delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Resolve customer queries and escalate delivery issues to the logistics team when needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle a physically demanding role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Own smartphone with data for route navigation and delivery tracking.
- No more than 6 points on your license.
- No previous criminal convictions; clean DBS check will be required.
- You MUST pass a drug and alcohol test.
- No previous motoring convictions (bans etc).
